During the last 3 days, I've noticed that the car does not respond to the fob's open/close buttons (distance to the car does not seem to matter) 3 out of 5 times. Tried using my other fob, but the car's reaction did not change one bit.
What could the problem be?
I doubt that both of my keys suddenly stopped working properly.
TIA.

probably not related, but what the hell. Sounds like bad batts, but both at the same time... not sure

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/898774.phtml</a

When I brought my car in to be looked at because of cold start problems, they told me both of my keys had to have the chips replaced. I told them I never use my spare but they said it wasn't working either. It's weird but when the replaced the chips in both keys everything worked...
