This weekend I discovered that one of my keys no longer works to remotely lock or unlock the car. I thought it might be a dead battery so I replaced it with one with the same number and voltage as the original and it still does not work. The other key works fine. Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Take your none-working key to the dealer, it needs to be programmed, was your cluster ever changed?

Thanks I will take in to have the key reprogrammed.

If it does and the remote lock/unlock is not working, you need to reset the remote control in the key. See p.54 in the owners manual.

when that happens to me i manually open the car and start the car. then (un)lock works

i had to change my battery and the key works in the ignition but the lock/unlock is not working
