The Good: Tire rack delivered in less than 24hrs..had a leaky strut and had to replace OEM ASAP ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The Bad: Three shops in Westchester and the Bronx, quoted between $300 and $850 for install and 4 wheel alignment... forget the Dealership...already was quoted at above $850 just to replace one plus $130 to align. RAPE!!!
The UGLY: The shop chosen broke one upper control arm and two rear mounting plates removing the OEM parts...and took 2 days to complete the job.
In all fairness, they actually did a decent job repairing the damage but damn... and the time was nessasary to obtain parts. Not sure they are OEM but I am not holding my breath...
Had a rental KIA for 2 days and BUT they only picked up the tab for 1 day. (Note: I hate KIA's)
Car unfortuneately sits about 1 inch higher than before... Definetely rides better but I am hoping the struts settle back to normal height at least...
You get what you pay for![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Going out for 1 drink I need it (OK, maybe 2 but thats it!)

I just don't understand how they managed to do that. Did they explain?
BTW, I am running the Koni FSDs with '05 OEM sport springs. I just recently installed them on my '03 Avant. I have had the FSDs for a while now. It's amazing, but the ride is better on the sport springs than it was with the non sports. The ride is less harsh, on small sharp bumps in particular, but at the same time, the handling and ride quality has a tighter feeling all around. I worried for a long time after I bought the springs, (from a '05 sedan) about the ride getting worse, and about the rear being too low compared to the front, but as it sits now, the ride height is close to equal front to rear, at about 25.25" ground to fender lip through the wheel center line. (235/45 17" tires at 32 psi.) Not too low, just right in my view. I am thinking about adding .25" spacers to the rear, as I think it would look better with a bit more forward rake. (And sit more level with stuff in the back.)
