do a complete checkup of your car.
check your sunroof/for noises when opening and closing them.
check all fluid levels.
check brakes for any squeeks.
check AC for any wierd smells.
test all your seat belts
make sure all your door locks work.
test all the buttons in your car (test each radio button, test all the windows, door locks, seat heaters)
check all your fuses.
check suspension for any odd noises driving over bumps.
drive with your radio turned off to see if your car is making any wierd groaning noises when cornering.
make sure all the leds light up properly on your instrument cluster.
If you know someone with a VAG-COM have them do an output test on all the electronics of your car.
Those are all the ones I could think of off the top of my head.. I'm sure there are more.

obviously if something is wrong with the car or worn you can bring it in at 49,999 and you're fine
