for last free checkup at 50k...can I ask for new brake pads? AC recharge? what else for free???

My dealer told me that if it's been less than 10k since your last, they won't do it, so it's...
basically impossible to get your 50k service, b/c they won't do the 40k until after 40k, but then at 50k it hasn't been 10k since your last service.

At my 40k (39,550), my dealer measured my rotors...m...
and found my front rotors thinner than spec. They replaced them at no charge. Also, their records indicated that brake fluid hadn't been changed in two years, so it was changed at no charge. I'm not sure I received special treatment or not. I brought them a dozen donuts when I dropped off the car, so they were in a good mood, but they wouldn't make those repairs if they didn't think they'd get reimbursed for it, IMHO.

You can ASK for ANYTHING!!!!!!
Whether you'll get it is another matter, and a lot depends on the dealer. Thought is brakes won't be touched ("normal wear-and-tear") but AC recharge should be done.
What else can you ask for?
- Navi system w/DVD
- S4 engine
- new tires
- complete repaint
- new timing belts
- new water pump
