then shouldn't the pads fit in the calipers so they don't move around? Since brake pads are usually designed to a common pattern for mass produciton by other companies, would the fault lie in the design of the pad itself, or in the caliper?
I know that I am, along with many others, getting annoyed with the chirping noises coming from the front brakes when travelling over rough road surfaces. AoA is saying "That's the way they are designed. Live with it." Yes, there are Big brake kits, but that would not work for all people (wheel size issue, cost, etc.).
So, what do you think?

"D R AND I BRKE PADS AND LUBRICATE SLIDERS ;METAL
SPRINGS AND BRAKE PADS"
5 WA
They said that the metal slider was making the noise, they adjusted and lubricate it and now it is gone.
