Default Lemon Law, Idle Problem Update...

Well, it looks like things are finally going my way. The dealership has agreed to my buyback, so I won't be filing Lemon Law on my '02 A4 3.0

It seems as if they are going to be replacing those cylinder heads on my car, hopefully the next owner wont have the same problems as I.

Anyways, I appreciate all the help I received on this forum. Thank you April for the email in helping me with some advice. This forum was a great experience and I will continue to visit it.

As far as me getting another car. I really hate to say this to you all, but Im going back to my true love, BMW's. I will be purchasing a '02 M3, I know you all understand.

Thanks again,
Bojan

The M3 is awesome - I hope the engine doesn't blow though : )

Default i've had a '01 325ci... problems exists for both A4 & 3 series...

top of the list is the coil packs problem on the A4's. i haven't had it yet, but still on the back of my mine. 3 series had the usual minor problems like squeeks, rattles, speaker buzzing. i had my xenons go out & fuel sensor replaced.

don't even think twice about getting the M3, it's a monster of a car. my dream car.

Coil packs are an inconvenience but they are quickly and easily fixed.

Default Question: if the coilpack problem occurs on a roadtrip...

the car will NOT be drivable, right? then i would need to call roadside and then how am i supposed to transport myself & my passengers?

I wish you well. Hope BMW has figured out how to keep M3 engines and drivelines intact:-)

Default Audi Trip Interruption Service !

From Audi:
" The Roadside Assistance Program also includes Trip Interruption, which covers expenses up to $500 per day for up to three days in the unlikely event that you experience a warranty-covered breakdown more than 100 miles from your home. "
