Default Lemon Laws....anybody here have any experience?

I just recently bought a 2003 A4 and I'm having issues with my fan. It kicks on and continues to run until the battery dies. The first time, they replaced the fan control module, but the problem continued. They then asked me to pull out my RF modulated XM radio. I did so and returned the car immediately. While I had the car, I was having to jump it after being out for only an hour. So the dealership monitored it for a few days and said the car was acting properly, and then gave it back to me. One week later the problem started again. The dealership is working on the car for the second time now. In VA, the lemon law is in effect after the dealer has tried to fix the problem three times without success. I was just wondering if there is anyone here who has had experience with Lemon Laws.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

I've heard that the lemon law requires 20 days in the shop for the same problem

it was on my ford explorer, it was brand new and someone hit me..it was in the shop for over 30days bc they couldn't get the parts. it was a 2001 explorer sport (ford wasn't shipping any parts) filed a complaint and about a month after it was all over i got 2grand, i dont' remeber how thye came up with that figure, but i also had the lease extended one month for free (basically getting my month back that i paid for and couldn't drive)

Default Your state should have a hotline...

They will give all the info you should need

I had a 1999 Dodge QuadCab That spent 43 days in the shop in the first year of ownership(wisconsin law is 30 days) No questions asked took it back. Paid for every thing. Good luck

Default I have some. Audi bought my two cars back. TT225 and A4.

Audi just bought TT back after several times of complaint. For the A4, it was turned out to be a Lemon so the state made Audi buy it back.

Terms of the Lemon laws are different by states, I believe.

Default Thanks for the responses......

I should be getting the car back tomorrow. They have a volt meter hooked up to it again to see if it is spiking or dipping too much. I'll get it back and they still won't know what to do. I'm going to talk to the GM while I'm there.
