of course its to help make sure tips are even, but why not just make
both adjustable?? then you could set tips as far in our out as you want, now you can only even tips with the one that is permantly welded..kinda dumb

To bad my milltek wasn't install for the gtg, best bet is to hear both and decide what fits your..
needs, thermal is supposed to put out more power than milltek. If you can wait I'll let you know when mine gets installed (waiting on labree dp) and you can check it out. Got quoted around $115 I think for install at Woodlawn.

i have milltek, its a nice growl, not loud at all. not sure about actual gains though....
it sounds great imo. i didn't want a loud *** exhaust. the thermal is pretty widely known as the exhaust with the best gains but i read that its pretty loud. depends on what direction you want to go in.

1080 for the milltek +100 for intallation=1180 total =/. But on the happy side

In regards to gains, its satisfactory, not a whole lot, but the look and sound is amazing. I tell everyone it sounds like a G35 w/testosterone.

i got the damn 3.5's , they said they were out of 4's. said milltek doesn't make 'em anymore.....
i dunno if that's right but that's what the sratmosphere guy told me. i got that crazy good deal though so its all good. you better watch your back when you get back in town, i might have to jack your tips!!
