Yea, I went with 6000K or 5300K or whatever bulbs only because they were cheaper...

They're whiter but they're not a brite as the OE bulbs. The only reason replaced mine is because one of them was flickering really badly. If I had to buy again, I'd go with the OE 4300K's.

the newer cars are upping the color temp kelvin for looks

i've got 104K on my stock hid and they work great.
