Light in glove box?

Anyone-
Does your glove box light up when open (when head lights are on)? I thought mine used to but now doesn't.

I believe the parking/headlights or key turned to on for the glove box light to function.

I just walked out to the garage and opened my glove box. The light works even w/o key or headlights.

I think it is when ever the Warning Triangle in Dash Centre (Hazard Switch) is illuminated that Glove box light will work(Watch the triangle when you lock car -It stays on for a while- Bake light continues to fuction until it goes out etc (Comfort feature ?). It does not matter about Ignition on or Off or side lights as in earlier A4s.
