So after teasing you all last night with a worthless teaser post tonight I can now say that the 18's are on the car. If you recall from my post last week the wheels are from a 25th Anniversary Limited Edition B7S4. 18X8 et43 with pratically brand new ContiSportContact2 235/40/18 rubber.
Many thanks to Dawint from the B5 forum for letting me come over his place tonight and borrow his race jack and his hands.
Idiot me left my camera at home so these pics were taken once I got home. Not great pics because of the poor light. Dawint took some better pics of the car in his well lite garage which I'll post up later along with some day shots that I plan on taking Thursday.
All I can say is that I have fallen in love with my car again and this time it is head over heels. The wheels really make the car look so much better than the OEM 5 spoke 17's or 16's that I have had on for the past 5 months. The cars stance is so much better with the wider wheels. I do wish the offset on these were like et35 or et38 so that the fender wells were really filled but other than that I am really happy that I have been able to achieve a very unique look for a B6 A4 while atthe same time using an OEM product.
Here they are, stacked up in my garage last night (should have used this as a teaser pic)

Here they are on the car. Sorry again for the poor night pics (ISATNP). I promise many more and better ones tomorrow. I just couldn't wait to show these puppies off.

In addition to putting the 18's on, I also put my OEM chrome frame S4 upper and lower grills back on after sitting in hibernation for the winter. The addition of the grills plus the wheels has made me a very happy camper.
Next up........ don't know for sure yet, but I have lots of ideas.
