Default Lip spoiler causing trunk rust

Bought lip spoiler off spoiler depot and had it installed by friends dad's body shop. When i look under the trunk the screw caps that are visible have a tiny amount of visible rust and wanted to know if anyone had this problem and if its that big of a deal what should i do...(rust sprays?) Thanks

Default I don't usually laugh at other people's misfortune, but BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got screwed and literally. Why'd you take such an easy DIY mod to someone else to do?

Default Try this <More>

might be a risk, but unscrew the sucker.
Clean the area whole trunk, inside and out.
Use rust seal to make sure the rust doesn't spread.
Patch the hole with plugs but preferrably bondo.
Then, GLUE the spoiler back on.

In the event that it is both GLUED and SCREWED>
Then, yes sir you are SCREWED. Literally.

Take it back to the guy who did it and ask them to fix it. Or pay for it to be fixed.

I hope this helps.
Drop me an e-mail.
Let me know how it turns out.

Best

That would make sense. Audi isn't big on using plain adhesives.
