Only thing out now is the Dback 4.82 setup. Gotta wait for a true big turbo.

Default looks like 286hp, 302tq....

It uses a proprietary turbo manufactured directly by 3K turbo that uses the K04 housing but among other things uses a larger cool side while keeping the hot side similar so the spool up remains similar. Get a hold of TJM Motorsport for pricing as I am not sure of their latest package price. cheers! Mike

Default Just my opinion, I wouldn't even consider that kit.

Even though he made good power, I'm begging my buddy Silence to get rid of his, not a good kit for our cars. It ran good on the NDBW cars, but not the DBW. Wait for the APR stage 3 or dish out the cash for MTM's Stage 4. That was for you Mike. : )

Default MTM and Revo...

Have made good power with their K04 kits, but that's weaksauce compared to a big turbo, even the Dahlback is limited. Although if no big turbo was in development I might just do that as it's the largest K04 out there. There should be 3 big turbo kits out by early next year, although they said that last year. LOL

Default wasnt the real issue with his car just the injectors? the gist i got before he got tuned was that

the car wouldnt idle with the injectors (RC 440 or greentop?) that he had in there unless the MAF was unplugged. it seems as though there are some promising injectors options for your cars as of late that are a good compromise between the returnless max 4 bar fuel pressure setup (ie being large) and idling. not that i like PES (the company itself) anymore then the next person but i wouldnt count that kit out yet.

Default You're right with the Greentops, it wouldn't idle smooth w/ the MAF...

The Revo file needs to be tuned to run the MAF. Good point, there are some nice injector options coming out for the B6, Garret and APR seem to have found their favorites. That wasn't the real issue though.

One issue I had with my PES kit was, it had no tuning, I was sold the kit before it was even done and I was given a incomplete file to run it. No worries, it actually didn't run all that bad, but it only made 220HP, running .8 bar. Derrick, Villians, had a far worse file than I did on his B6, he bought his kit used.

That's fixable but still there is no tuning for that specific kit on the market for the B6. The other problem is that the turbo to manifold bolts come loose or eventually break. I had my kit for 4 months the bolts came loose, then broke, then I had to pay to get them fixed, then they came loose again. Silence has broken the bolts twice. Two of my friends w/ B5's blew their motor with the kit as well.

Sameer and Digi@lex had great results with the kit, that's one reason I gave it a try. If PES can fix the broken stud issue and get the tuning done, then there's still hope.

Although I have heard the manifold is poorly designed and can cause high EGT's in two cylinders, not positive on that. What have you heard? I know Garret runs the kit on his B5 but he's NDBW, so is Alex and so was Sameer before he sold the car. I hope they get it all fixed, the more kits the better.
