04 would get you an ultrasport (as an option)... that's the way to go in my opinion!

Default Welcome to my office Mr. Press. Glad to see you might be joining the A4 club.

Are you thinking 1.8T or 3.0 for her? A 3.0 Tip is probably great for her. If she likes to ow the gears than maybe a 1.8T but again the 3.0 MT6 is a great choice for a grocery getter.

Some '03's had their fuel pumps recalled. I think '04's came with painted lowers from the factory which is nice. Sport package is the way to go without a doubt. The non-sport suspension is just not good in my opinion. If you ever drive the car you'll want the sport suspension.

Default thanks for the info....i know it will be a tip....the mrs ain't too good with the shifting thing....

right now i have my local dealer looking for a couple of vehicles for me....i have a few other issues i need to work through so i'll keep ya posted....thanks again

Default Ideally you may want to get a Ultrasport, tip and 3.0...

3.0 from a reliability point of view and if you want to keep it stock it will be smooth...

I was in the same situation, but could only find a 1.8T stock Avant...Car is nice but it would need a lot of work to satisfy me.
