looking for ipod mount location - anyone ever remove credit card tray?
The new dock fits in there perfectly but the wrong direction. I think if you took the dock apart, and fabricated something to house the components it could be made to work in there which would give you line out and power ability.

ive been thinking abou the same thing.....
i was thinking about just laying the ipod in there flat, but the card tray isnt long enough. i was just gona have it so i could take the ipod out when i wanted to use it and when i didnt i could just tuck it away in there.

I was thinking if removed the front cover and hinged it to the bottom.. then you modify a cradle...
so that you put click put the iPod in face up....
Looks doable in my head.. but hell if I'm that crafty.

Go to Radio Shack and by a cell phone holder...
I got the one that attaches to the air conditioning duct...just remove the air conditioning duct hardware and use some super glue.
