Default Looking for a New AUDI in Canada

I'm a young Canadian looking to buy an Audi (2002 A4 1.8TQ with sports suspension and sunroof). I'm trying to save as much money as i can seeing that i'm spending money i don't really have to begin with. Can anyone give me some insight on how much money off the MSRP i can expect to pay. Please also specify if you're in Canada or the U.S. Any help is much appreciated.

Default Maybe $2000 off the MSRP

Don't know how much more you can go with the new 2002s. BTW I'm in Toronto.

Default With only the Sport Package and a Sunroof I'm guessing $1500-$2000 off MSRP.

Shop around. Don't be afraid to talk to dealerships outside the Toronto area. It may end up saving you a few hundred dollars or more.

Are you buying or leasing? I think lease rates are pretty good right now, so that'll save you some money if you do decide to lease.

The 2002 A4's are hot right now. So there's high demand, which usually makes dealers happy to deal close to MSRP. But if you do your homework, I'm sure it'll pay off.

I'm in Ottawa.

Thanks for your help. I'm looking to buy outright so i don't have much bargaining room with the lease rate or anything...So far, i think i got them down about $1000.00. I'm shopping around right now and i'm really new to this forum. I have been reading other peoples postings and just signed up last night so i could come on here and post this message. Everyone seems so friendly and it's a great meeting place for all the AUDI enthusiasts. I love the new re-design, i was in love with the 1st generation too. I priced BMW, MERECEDES, LEXUS, and a few others. I get the most bang for my buck with AUDI and i love the car. I currently own a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I love turbo all-wheel drive and that's what initially sparked my attention to AUDI. What a car.

Same here, I understand your concern. I just bought an A4 with all equipment minus the Bose and rear side airbag. Plus I got the vortex kit too.
I got 2600 off MSRP, free installation of kit and 3.9% interest rate.
I got the car in Waterloo Ontario.

Default Suggestion

Don't know what MSRP is for the car you're looking at, but would suggest you figure out a reasonable price by working up from the dealer's invoice (available for a small fee at www.carcostcanada.com, unless you have another source). Think anything less than 5% over invoice would not be unreasonable - doubt you'd get them down to 3% over invoice, but times are tough so you never know - give it a try. If your local dealers are greedy, try Crosby VW/Audi in Kitchener - it was well worth the drive for me.
