Looking at putting an offer in on a used '04 1.8tqsm, what do you think I should offer?

04 A4 1.8tq, sport package, manual, painted lowers, xenon package, premium package, black with tan interior.

1400 miles, 6 weeks old! (he is being transferred out of the country for his job).

He probably paid $31K for it, and I will probably throw him a low ball offer of maybe $27.5K or $28K. What do you think?

MSRP on that car is $32,120. $27.5 sounds like a fair offer...

Used is used and he has to expect to take a hit. Good luck, I hope it works out...

28.5 is the most I would go....low ball him at 27.5 first.

Dealers would give him below wholesale....he'd get 25.5 from me for it.

Nah, I can get the same car from my dealer for $29.2K new with zero miles, so I am not going over 28

Dealer is already going to give me an incredible deal on a new car since I am the prez of the Audi club, so anything over 28K I am going to say no to.. .
