Default Lowering springs on A4

First of all I would like to apologise in advance for my bad grammar and spelling. I'm living in Sweden so english is not my first language. Hope you will understand anyway. :-)

I'm currently driving an Audi A4 2001 1.8t (2nd gen) 2WD, which I have lowered with springs from H&R. I'm not satisfied with the reslut, because the car was lowered 30 mm in the front (as it should be), but it was only lowered about 10 mm in the rear.

I've contacted H&R's reseller in Sweden, and according to them my springs were developed for a pre-release model and the rear suspension got changed to the release (shorter springs). H&R are currently developing new rear springs, but it seems as this will take quite some time, so I'm thinking about changing the rear springs to a different brand.

Has anyone lowered your A4 with aftermarket springs with good reslut? If so, which brand did you choose? Please let me know!

Thanks in advance
//Magnus, Sweden

The drop looks right. Do you still think there is/was a problem?

Should be 1.2" or approx. 30mm front and rear.

The H&R's should lower 1.2" rear and front too, but they didn't. :-( I just need to be absolutely sure that the Eibach springs really lowers the car 1.2" in the rear before ordering new springs.

H&R's claim more than 1.2 in drop in the rear.

I don't have any measurements on mine but I would say it was about 1.2.
