This morning my audi decided to be my alarm clock. With typical german efficiency it decided to get me out of bed 1 hour 30 mins ahead of time. It was the coldest night of the year. According to my neighbours the alarm had been going since around 11pm, but because it isn't all that loud, i ignored it! COuldn't believe it was my audi! Anyway when I got out of bed the alarm would not switch off to any presses of my remote and the cars central locking system did not even respond to the remote. Eventually I managed to get into the car and had to turn the engine on for a period of time before it stopped. the remote fob would still not activate and lock the doors. ON the drive to work the central locking system kept trying to open the doors even though they were open. Very strange. Once set off can the alarm be switched off with the remote fob??

which red button? I tried putting the key in the door. It seemed to unlock the doors but alarm kept going. I couldn't get into the car at first. The whole system seems to have reset and the period of chaos has passed. thankfully.
