Default Man, it's hard to keep an A4 clean in NE

Six months of snow, slush and road salt then three months of yellow-green pollen film.

LOL - yeah, and add to that the water shortage here in PA!

I hear ya. Had the car detailed a week ago and it already looks like it's never been washed.

Default It's times like these that Canvas Beige Metallic comes in handy!

I too live in NE and one of the factors of the color decision was NE weather conditions.

Default I second that observation....

thought I was the only Canvas Beige around by the reply to previous posts regarding color choice. They all look good... but the beige does lend itself well to hiding the NE grime.

Default I could have chosen ANY color that I wanted...

...and I picked Canvas Beige Metallic. Not only is it really classy looking with the dark lowers and silver accents, but it's even more understated in its beauty versus some of the more "bratty" looking darker colors.

Attention is NOT something I'm after.

In addition to what I've detailed above, I bought my car versus leasing and plan to own it for a long time. That considered, I also had to think about what colors stand up to the elements the best and it's a fact that lighter colors do.

The flip side of that of course is that NOTHING brings back a shine like the dark colors - starting with black!

I can't understand why so many people bash beige? As with anything when it comes to taste, including car color, "de gustibus non disputandum est"!

Default I agree...

I was worried about vandals.. my last A4 was keyed and I didn't want that to happen with the new one. I don't know how many Black and Red cars I see around here that have huge key scratches down the sides.
