Every time I take co-workers, friends or whoever out in my car, I get asked a million questions about it.
"How much horsepower? How does it handle so well? How much did it cost ya? What have you done to the car?" Yada yada.... It's flattering and all, but there's a point to where I don't feel like taking people around anymore. I'd like to just have a regular conversation for once.
I guess I don't help the situation by driving a bit balsy :-P
I think I've sold my 10th A4 now...and that's not a joke.

one of the reasons i got the car was that it has a high "cool" quotient, compared to all those other boring cars out there. a co-worker just grilled me about the car this morning, said the car looked sweet. very common reaction.

i have always owned relatively clean, flashy cars (though none even approaching this price level) and so the A4 was a natural progression.
everyone i drive in it jokes that i "must be a drug dealer" or something to "afford a car like this".
little do they know...
then again, most of them drive POS's that they own and therefore have *no* car payments...so that's pretty sweet too i guess
depends on your priorities

It's even worse when you sell them, and on your lone day off each week after working 80 hours, you get people walking up and asking you questions - and you're not even driving one !
Females in sales are easy to remember. All these people would come in for test drives. Then at a later date they'd see me at a store, on the plane, etc and play 50 questions, assuming I'd remember them ( even if they didn't buy a car from me ) and want to talk about their situation/car ( even if they didn't buy an Audi, and wimped out to get something mundane like an Accord Coupe ).
