Default Massive Turbo Lag on 03 A4 cars

Guys, recently my I have been experiencing a massive delay in turbo. This happens with fast shift changes from reverse to drive. I expect a lag, but the lag is 2 seconds and my foot in pressed hard on the accelerator.

Any ideas?

No turbo lag.....change of directions lag. There's also a lag when you go from off to on!

Guys, it is not turning the car on. It is reversing quickly out of a parking spot, putting the car into drive (quickly into gear) and then pressing the accelerator. The car seems to be 'dead' for 2-3 seconds and then finally catches and I move.

Similar issue with my tip, but it seems to have gotten better with more miles (at 6k now). It still pisses me off though, that and the lack of low-end torque.
