Default Me and a 330 on rainy day.

So I am driving to work in a rainy day. The highway was very slow that I was falling asleep. Shortly after exiting the highway a black 330ci zoomed past me. I started to try to catch up with him until I was right behind him on a left turn lane. Once we made that turn the fun started. Because he was already ahead of me and there was still some traffic I was tailing him for about 15 minutes until we got to a stop light after which the street typically clears. As soon as the light turned green we both floored it with me following very close to him (left lane was clear). I was tailing him very close that I felt at times that I can pass him. Finally, the right lane cleared. I shifted down from 4th to 3rd and started pushing it. For few seconds it seemed that neither he is pulling away from me nor I was getting any closer with less than a car lenght between us (he was on the left lane and i was on the right). Suddenly I started to pull closer passing him at around 95mph very surely despite the fact that I was on deeper water side of the road (little bit less than a inch). This was a very clear victory, no excuses for BM. He had the lead advantage, the better road surface and seemed to have more guts in pushing the car in the rain than I do. All what I got was only the AUDI ADVANTAGE.

Default That BMW 50/50 weight dist is overrated. It could come down to tyres as well. Glad you had fun.

My '93 3251 sucked in wet. Had **** General tyres though.

Default When I passed him on that speed it was on

an about 3 mile straight street in an industrial area. There was clear view of what is ahead and no intersections or drives. It was the first time with my new audi to reach this speed besides I usually don't like speeding in the rain. But with just you and a 330 on 3 mile stretch of a street it is impossible to resist especially when I started to feel that I can pass him.

Default Sadly, it could have just as easily been:

"In local news, a man was killed today after his car spun out of control and hit a light post..."
Just be careful, dont wanna lose an AW user.
