Melting carbon fiber engine cover?
Just installed it last night...drove a bit today..when I got home...noticed a distinctive plastic melting smell. I guess I gotta figure out a way to separate this better from the engine..Ugh.

Is that the one you bought from a guy in upstate NY? How much again??

I think it came from NY
Fit is decent...not perfect though...I am trying slight adjustments to the shape of the cover...and then I put washers UNDER it...don't know if they will melt...it all depends on how hot it gets....
