my audi a4 b5 1996 is misfiring its only using 2 plugs i tried replacing the other 2 but still they arent firing

Have you tried replacing the coils on the one's not firing? Have you tried swapping one the coils that fire to the location of the other coil location to see if it's coil related? By doing this you might be able to narrow down if it's a coil problem or something else.just a suggestion, good luck with your problem.

Probably should post this in the B5 forum. The '96 was available with the 2.8 V6 only in the U.S. I believe, '97 was first 1.8T year. Where are you located?
