Good advice; Got any particular springs you're thinking of?

Default I was thinking of Neuspeed, but I've heard good stuff about all of them...Intrax, H&R, etc...

I'm still on stock sport springs, so I don't have any first hand experience to share w/ ya =T

#5- you dont like stock rims? I would go 18s if your gonna ungrade ..
#6- my question is.. why get sports package if your gonna get new wheels and coilovers? the sway bars arent worth $1000....

Default Here's my advise......

#6 first, get a better handling car, with good tires you will be able to carry more speed in curves and turns.

#2 second, brakes will allow you to go deeper and faster to your braking point. Question on the S4 brake upgrade. Which S4 rotor are you talking about (size) and what carriers are you using? Do you plan on competing with your car? May I suggest you simply look at the A4 3.0l brakes both the front and rear brakes are larger. The front rotors are 312x25, those are the same rotors they use on the TT and the older A8. Just for your info the S4 rotors I use (321x30) assuming these are the ones you are thinking of upgrading to, weigh 20lbs each, that's alot of unsprung weight! One last thing get a good set of prformance brake pads.

#3 Short shifter, once you try one you will understand.

As you can see I'M PERFORMANCE ORIENTED!!!

Default Yes, I was thinking about the 321mm rotors, and I know they're heavy... but 3.0 brakes aren't enough

as I do plan to track the car. By the way, from your sig, you have the most impressive set-up I've ever seen on a B6. Very nice.

Default S4 brakes+heavy replica 18s= s l o w. Get ze chip! Custom alignment is the key to handling, btw. Try

the shifter before you buy it. Motormount seems like a good idea.

I wish I could talk myself into a chip, but with all of my issues, plus the CP problem, I can't!
