Geez, performance chip is a well-proven technology, it's a shame not to get it. No real problems at

all. My shop has chipped (GIAC) literally more than 100 1.8ts and not one engine failure. There is not much the dealer can blame on a chip, I don't think it has anything to do with coilpacks either. Remember, Audi would have to *prove* that your chip caused whatever warranty problem there was. Maybe, just maybe, you would not mind those little glitches as much if you car was a whole lot faster for a just few bucks.
