I just talked with AoA regarding the damage to my car caused by the bra. I gave them the story and the reply came back " So what are you expecting AoA to do for you" ? Errrrm " I'm not paying for the damage to my car caused by a product supposed to protect it "
Them - " You took the bra off so there is nothing we can do to verify that it was fitted correctly "
Me - " You must be joking - I took it off so that it would not cause any more damage to my car, that is how I was aware it had been damaged - I wanted to use it for road trips only, as I am aware long term use can cause clouding of the paint "
Them - " it would have been obvious with the bra still fitted "
Me -" The damage was under the bra and could not be seen "
Them - " Well, as I have stated, you removed it, therefore a dealer cannot verify that the bra caused the damage or was fitted correctly"
Me - " So you're telling me you're going to do nothing about a product which others have complained and/or warned about which does damage to a $38,000 car ? I won't be buying another Audi, goodbye "

I guessed that this would be the outcome, and it sure was.

Can you feel them with your fingernail? If not, then some paint care products should be able to remove the scratches/scuffs. A dent removal specialist could remove the dents, or since they sound minor, maybe even dry ice.

I talked with my dealer and they were surprised at the response from AoA and asked me to bring the car to them on Friday, when they will check it out and see what they can do for me.
