I finally finished my powdercoating curing oven I've been working on for a while now. It's big enough that I will be able to PC wheels two at a time.
Pic of the frame with the bottom tray and 45000 BTU propane infrared heater.

Pic of the inside with the walls installed.
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/finaloven2.jpg">
I wanted to be able to take the whole thing apart because it's too big to keep in the garage all the time so I had to weld bolts to the frame and nuts to metal straps in order to rig up a quick mounting system (that's why it took so long, plus I was making my plan as I went).
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/finaloven3.jpg">
Pic of the grille where the parts will be hanging from, I'll put a winch on my garage ceiling to raise the grille/parts in and out of the oven.

Pic of the top with the heavy duty handles I fabricated and the chimney.

Pic of the in-wall thermometer.
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/finaloven7.jpg">
...and finally, a pic of the whole thing together.
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/finaloven6.jpg">
Now I just have to try it see if it works, I friggin' hope so with the amount of time I spent on this project!!!

A couple of suggestions, you should consider a plate to block direct infrared radiant exposure, on the parts, or the paint will likely overheat quickly on directly exposed surfaces. (Although that is why you chose the infra-red type heat source, I suppose.) A hand held infra red non-contact surface thermometer could be handy as well.

I got the sheet metal and insulation at cost from a contractor. I bent the sheetmetal, TIG welded everything myself so I saved a lot of money.
The block off plate is a good idea. I already have an IR thermometer from my previous thermal coating jobs, you have to make sure the actual part is at curing temperature, the in-wall thermometer is just to give me an idea of the temperature inside the oven.
