Default Mounting wheel experience..

Get this, I go to auto shop which is going to mount one tire onto my wheel and say, "So you're not going to scratch my wheel, right?"

The guy just looks at me and smiles. He thought it was amusing.

This is right after I handed over my wheel which has "Please do not scratch wheel. Brand New" written on it. And right after he just told me he had the best Hunter Tire balancing machine. And right after he tells me his shop has been servicing Porsches and Ferrari's for years.

I don't know if he was covering his *** by not responding and making a joke of it. So, I guess now I wait in suspense until I pick up my tire in a few days. Bastage. Good thing this is my spare tire.

Default Yeah...not funny...

I dropped off my new set of RS4 reps and some Yoko AVS ES100 rubber to be mounted. 3 hours later I return to pick up my 3 month old A4 with a scratch in the fender, a deep gouge in the driver side lower and 4 (yes all 4) damaged RS4 reps. Looks like they used a crow-bar to pop the damn tires on. I was pissed! In the end the shop ended up buying me a new set of RS4 reps, paying for the parts and labor for buff the scratch and replace the lower, refunding my $$$ for the mounting, and I got to keep the original set of RS4 reps. So they were out $1500 and I had 2 sets of wheels
