Default I forgot to ask about the weight. But they did not seem too heavy.

I'll find out.

Default Passat's 5x112? They must have bought them when they were available then.

Or they know someone at Apex/Moven perhaps, because there is no stock of 5x112 in US.

Default lol

I'll slow down. I just get in my research mode and go. I knew I should have brought my camera though, to snap pictures of these wheels (and next to my car).

Brake dust is one thing I am not looking forward to with mesh wheels (or any new wheel I get that is harder to reach). I always consider how hard it will be to clean. I want to be able to reach in with a cotton mit and wash it off. Fewer, bigger spokes will be best.

Default Cheap wheel sex vs high class wheel sex, eh?

I'm thinking the same thing; "how can I degrade my car like that". I just look at it in terms of visual aesthetics for now. It would be a better temporary fix for the time being. Little to pay, for something that looks very nice. Maybe a spare set.

Default Supposedly Jan. '04 is when they will be here....

Forged is a process of placing the metal under tremendous pressure (8K lbs or more). Cast is a cheaper process which yeilds heavier and less costly wheels.

Default moven wheels aren't known for being light. They are cast and to be honest on the movens I had

I wasn't too pleased with the finish/paint quality
