well thats not reassuring.. I ordered on and hopefully it should be here by wends so I will take a look thurs/friday and let you know how it works out.. I really hope it works.
I dont see why it wouldnt IF it is gunna simply be seen as a changer.. the harness might be different but a little splice work and it "should" work..
lets keep our fingers crossed..
I might go to the dealer today and pickup a wire harness for the 2nd changer and work off that when the unit arrives.
DOES ANYONE know of the pin-out layout for our symphonyII or for the mp3 unit ? anyone have a bently cdrom? please post pics and pin layouts

I hate to say it but I doubt it's gonna work. Its not as simple as just figuring out the "pin-outs" each manufacture (blaupunkt, panasonic, sony, ect...) has a certain protocol on how their radios will talk to the cd changers.

I have heard enough speculation on this. I just want to know if it works or if there is really a way to make it work.

Has anyone with an Audi head unit received their Blau MP3 unit?

Or was this just a lot of big talk and hype that has already been forgotten?

For me... I DID order mine last week. I would like to get it installed and functional if at all possible. Else, I can always use the micro drive, which alone is a deal at $149.90 (139+shipping).

Anyone have any answers yet? I promise that if I get mine working, I will at least share the information so that others can do the same.

We bought out their inventory, so you're not alone. I bought 2 for myself (one for my G/F), so I'm definitely not going to drop the ball.

Monday morning, I will be calling them up to see if I can get any specific answers out of them. Depending on how that goes, I'll be taking the unit to my trusted installer to see what he thinks.

I'm not holding my breath waiting, because it's somewhat of a too-good-to-be-true deal, but I'll definitely keep everyone informed of what I find. Please do the same,
