My 2004 A4 3.0 is at the dealer!
Hello everyone. This is my first post as I'm about to join the ranks of Audi owners. My dealer (Thoroughbred Motorcars in Nashville, TN)called today to tell me my 2004 A4 has arrived! If I can work out my schedule, I'll pick it up Friday. It's been a long wait since April when I placed the order, but I'm sure it will be worth it. The specs of my new car are:
2004 A4 3.0 FrontTrak Multitronic (CVT)
Brilliant Black / Platinum
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
17" Wheels / All-Season Tires
Bose Premium Audio
XM Satellite Radio
Power Rear / Manual Side Sunshades
Black Audi Rubber Floor Mats
The car was built during the first week of 2004 production (Week 22), so I'll be one of the first in the U.S. to have a 2004 model. Hopefully, the bugs like coilpack issues, etc. have been worked out. Can't wait until Friday!!

Congrats..... Brilliant black with a platinum interior is a winner in my book.

I also got my A4 at Thoroughbred, although 2 years ago. If you see a silver A4 with the Oettinger kit around town, that would be me. Suprisingly, I've only seen one or two other B6s in Nashville besides my own. Where abouts Nashville do you live? I'd really enjoy finally getting in touch with another B6-er in my area. Don't think so. I haven't seen the car yet, but painted lowers aren't supposed to be standard until Week 45 production (sigh).

Actually, part of the allure of the A4 for me is that I hardly ever see them. I live in southern middle Tennessee, and there is, I think, one B5 A4 in my town (no B6's). I'm sure I'll get a few looks
