I come out to my car this morning to go meet some guys to go on a spirited drive up through the mountains. I'm in a pretty good mood, having just washed and waxed my baby the night before. HOLY ****!!!!!!! EGG ALL DOWN THE LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL AND LEFT REAR DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY LORD???????? o.k. sorry I'm better now. So I pull back into the driveway and wash the crap off and head on my merry way. Well, I'm at the meeting point waiting and I'm looking over the car again. The bastards scratched the ish out of my paint with the damn egg! There is a spot the size of an egg w/ probaby a hundred little tiny paint chips. Not scratches, actual chips, paint missing! O.k. that's the bad news, good news is the cops actually caught these idiots w/ the help of a neighbor who's car also got egged as he was driving. I'm calling the cops tomorrow to report it and report the damage. I want my reparations biatch!

I thought that since they got arrested than they owe whoever's property they damaged money to cover the damage automatically. ???

If these kids have parents that own a home, this is where you can get them to pay. It is really a low cost item for the parents. My neighbor's kid and their friends scratched the heck out of the wife's car. I only dealt with the homeowners insurance company and they had no prob covering the $1,600 to have most of the car repainted.
