More then the 8.5 HP gains your getting with your chipped car !Joking!
They are way to easy to make. I would assume any metal shop would make the aluminum plate if you couldn't.

It WOULD be a "go fast" mod for me as I often travel with
beverages. . . .water, coffee, (diet) soda. . . . tempting to travel with an "adult" beverage like. . . um. . . .beer, too. D'OH!!!

Thats why I made these... Next time your in your car
put your hand on your shifter and you will see that your elbow is not even close to that storage bin. The cup holder in the arm rest I found way too forward and although I have a Tiptronic I was hitting the cup all the time. I had a 2002 Passat 5 speed before this car and the factory cup holders were in this spot and I loved them. So my thinking in my creation was to copy the Passat.

I like it! I find myself always grabbing for my cup in the cupholder whenever I make a turn.
Also, if I forget to close the vent behnd the cup, it cools the coffee in about 20 minutes! Nice job.
