It's just a wedge shape that stuffs between the center console and the passenger seat. It has a lip that sits slightly over the passenger seat, that's why they loose seating space. Looking at the picture, that's the side that faces the passenger seat.

Since it's not attached like the VW part, it's easy to move. (It's just one piece of plastic too, so nothing to break.)
