my key fob just died...how do I get in?

my key fob just died...how do I get in?
Isn't there a button I push inside the car while turning the key to shut off the alarm? It's locked remotely, and the remote is broken.

that will set off the alarm - have to disable the alarm first
you should have gotten 2 keys when you bought the car. Use the other one or replace the battery (hoping it's just a dead battery)

The battery for the remote is all that went dead...
The immobilizer chip in the key is still good. Simply use the key in the keylock (driver's door), and you'll be OK. It won't set off the alarm due to the chip in the key.
Now go get a new battery!
