Haven't had a heavy load in it yet
so no idea what it might be like fully loaded with heavy stuff, but I don't expect to put heavy stuff in there anyway (I would put it in the trunk and keep lighter stuff in the box if possible).
And I've only had it on for 2 days, so haven't seen the impact on MPG year.
But the box is on solid, no sound/wind noise, doesn't shake or rattle at all.

I agree. went to montreal for the first time this summer and ...
