Default Yep. The circlip clip thingy failed on me. It slid up the shifter and was
so bad that I'd go to reverse instead of 1st gear.
If I'm around during Thanksgiving, will definitely meet up to check your ride.

Default Varify the shift linkage adjustments. ...
For circlips, get a convertable inside/outside circlip plyer with various tip sizes to fit different circlips.

Default Which bolts? The linkage bolts or where the whole assembly mounts to the thingy
with the 4 torx bolts?
