I have noticed that the view from my driver's seat appears just slightly as if I am staring through a coke bottle; the windshield seems to make things appear a bit distorted...other drivers of my 02 have remarked on this issue as well...what's the deal with the front glass?

I have not noticed any distortion with mine. I would brign it to the dealership.

I'm on my second windshield and they both are like that

Look through windshield at an angle from about 10-15 feet and move around a little. Any distortion should stick out like a sore thumb, especially if you're looking at something with straight lines, like a garage door or brick wall. If others are noticing it as well, you're probably not imagining it and there are thick and/or thin spots in your windshield.

Tell your dealer you get vertigo big time because of it and will kill yourself or someone! Demand a replacement!
