n75j works, with apr 1+, 2003 1.8t
boost is smoother, holds a little longer, initial feel of coming into boost is not so "jerky" easier to modulate the throttle in and out of boost...pretty sure my dv is shot so i ordered a new one- i'll give a better impression when its one as i've been noticing my boost let go every now and then...
now, i say the n75j works fine right now w/o issue, but i guess it could still make me overboost at some point, but i've been lovin every minute of it on 100 oct. noticeable diff.
install- not too bad, a little pain in the *** getting the small clamps off the hoses and getting new clamps on and getting the hoses on the new n75j...also, the wiring harness that connects to the n75 is not long enough for the n75j as it is oriented differently and the connection point faces the opposite direction than the original..solution- you have to cut the wrap around the wires that connect to the n75 and the maf enough so that you can reroute that wiring harness in a more direct fashion...
all smiles so far

unfortunately mike, im not, which isnt the brightest thing
but im waiting for awe to come out with a platinum vent gauge and dont want to drop the $$ twice...maybe i'll get a chance to get on the dyno this weekend and see whats goin on or maybe i'll see if i can vag it
imo, you might as well try it, its only $75 and im sure you could change it easily

http://www.impexfap.com</a

Thanks bud. You can always swap the other vent out for a black one to match or paint...
the AWE one. I have a beige interior and it doesnt really bother me much. Thanks for the link. I'll probably pick it up. cheers! Mike
