Pic for attention
So I was being told the immobilizer went bad completely because For last couple weeks my car has been starting up then shutting right off it does it 2-3 times then starts up and drives no problem Then one day I get in turn my key and nothing no response no check engine light nothing I jumped the clutch safety switch I put a new battery in , I changed battery In my key fobb only idea I have left is the starter could this be it ? Putting this type of work into these cars when you have to have a shop do it does not become cheap...

If the immobilizer was bad, it would not start at all. Sounds more like your crank position sensor, known as an Engine Speed Sensor on the Audi. Only way to know for sure is to download codes with a VAGCOM

remove your ECU and send it to this company on EBAY VARPARTS, they remove the chip from your ECU and install a new circuit inside to defeat immobilizer for $60 plus delivery, 100% guaranty 300+ clients happy,
