Ok to make the long story short...
Last summer I got GIAC K04 setup installed + FMIC + NS Xtreme hose
and Im running M1 Synth. 0W40 oil...and have 44K miles
Couple months ago I have noticed that engine/turbo? is taking oil.. So I have changed it and decided to see how many miles it will take for it to drop significantly ( most of the time I change oil every 3000miles)...and IT TOOK ONLY ~ 1000miles for the oil to drop from Max to Min !!!

1) Next saturday im going to see the mechanic that installed the K04 kit bc my turbo is overboosting (only 4th and 5th gears peak at 26+psi and than it doesnt pull smoothly but jumps bw 15-22, other gears seem OK).....could this be relevent to oil problem??? other gears seem to pull OK peaking around 23psi but than again are not that smooth in pulling but bttter than 4th and 5th

2) My friend is a mechanic at the audi dealer (not the same guy that installed k04) and checked the car for me, did not find any leaks, checked the turbo and also looked ok
basically he didnt find any problems but told me to maybe switch the oil to thicker one like 5W40... (any recommendations in oil brand if going to thicker would help?

before this problem I was only on GIAC chip, Thermal race, TestPipe, +little things and never had oil problems like this and car pulled vey smoothly

anyone had similar problems - any advice????

if the turbo isn't leaking out of its seals, then it has to be blown by the rings. maybe a compression check?

only takes a second or two to fry a ringland or burn a valve.

compression leakdown test would put those bad thoughts to rest.
