Need some advice ... A4 vs A3 3.2? A4 2.0 vs A4 3.2?

I'm a long time Audi owner (allroad right now, before that a 91 Coupe Q, before that a 5000Q) and about to downsize from the allroad -- just too big a car for our needs.
I was pretty well sure I was going to go for the A4 Avant, torn between the 2.0 and 3.2, both in manual tranny. I drove the A3 today and was very impressed ... it was a 2.0 with DSG tranny. Very smooth and slick. And about to be available in quattro ... necessary for me.
So ... too many choices. By the time you build up the A3 with the 3.2L it comes to 49K $Cdn. The A4 builds up to $57K. The A3 seems very expensive at that price, but then so does the A4.
Anyone out there have any opinions or feedback on their experiences, things to watch out for, etc?

The A4 is a bit larger, especially in terms of cargo capacity. The A4 doesn't come in DSG though. I think it's gonna be a little while before the A3Q shows up, whereas the A4Q is around now. Mind you the A4 you're talking about is the B7, while this is the B6 forum...
By the way, are you an ACNA member? We're setting up a BC chapter.

Thanks for the clarificatin on the forum focus ... IS there a spot for the B7 platform, or is it too new?
According to Capilano Audi, they have 2 A3Qs on the way in over the next couple of weeks, both special packages with the 3.2L engine.
Re: ACNA, the sales person mentioned that there was a new chapter started here ... I'll watch for it, though spend most of my car club time with PCA
