Can someone please tell me where I can get a fuel filter for an 04 1.8t? And also maybe point me to where I can find a walkthrough on how to change it? My car is making the whining noise from the rear and I don't know if it's the fuel pump yet...Hopefully not because I am out of warranty.

You can get the fuel filter from the dealer, ECS or PureMS. Take your pick.

in front of the rear wheel on the passenger side, you'll have to remove a plastic cover to reach it. Maybe these pics can help...

The dealer is out of stock like always and they want 49 bucks plus tax. The filter at purems is 18.95 shipped...Unfortunately I need this done really soon...
