Default New A4 / S4 press release...

Like I have been saying for the last 9 months and more than one of you were skeptical of my info about the new A4 with its two new motors, read on.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/129187.phtml</a

Default Never doubted you...

I was also saying the same thing. Good thing we have reliable sources. =)

Default What turbo in the 2.0t?

Haven't noticed this in the press releases yet. BTW - like the dual smics.

Default I don't know about the turbo yet, apparently it is a Garrett but of unknown type. I also thought...

A small front mount IC was going to be used but perhaps that's in the Golf V ant A3 models only.

It's not really a "new" A4 though, right? It's a refreshed 8E/B6.

Default It's not a truly new model. But because of the major "Face Lift" with only the roof line kept ...

From the B6, the revised suspension and two new motors, which have been pushed back 4 cm for better weight distribution, it is definately more than just a face lift like what happened to the B5. I think we will have to wait for the B8 for a completely new car.

Default Never really doubted you, but some posted 6 months ago like it's fact.

Like this press release is Audi German, and people still can't take all the options listed in this press release as truth, or what will show over here (US).

Who knows what AoA will do to us? Will we get adaptive HID lights?? NAV+ MMI??? My assumption is yes, but these options are examples of things they could decide to leave out on the NA model. I'm not trying to freak anybody out, but just stating this is a possibility. Options like Parktronic is another example.
