Default On the B8 platform....

the A4/S4/RS 4 will be sedan and avant only while the A5/S5/RS 5 will be coupe and convertible only. The exterior and interior styling and design of the A5/S5/RS 5 will be the same as yet different from the A4/S4/RS 4. When I buy an Audi, I think it will be the B8 S5 or RS 5 in the coupe bodystyle instead of the C6 A6 4.2, S6 or RS 6 in the sedan bodystyle.

Default those Photoshopped pictures have been around for some time...

but I do believe we'll be getting the B8 late next year if we're lucky. I've been telling the B6 guys all along to hold out for the B8 since it would be here in 2007!

with options like the s-line and rns-e, you can count on it.

Default Oh no, you're right about that Steve...

I was thinking more of a "nicely equipped" model like what I have now...4-cyl. quattro, Premium package, Bose, sunroof, etc. A similarly equipped B7 prices out at something like $36K. I figure I'd be still interested if that price didn't creep up past $40K when the B8 comes out.

Default Here's the other picture..

The new one has the typical S4 traits.. I think this is the 'A4' version of the same thing - lets just hope the real thing is as nice!

Default B7 was just a refresh anyway..

Looking at those pics and your 8E, our gen cars look positively WEAK.. Lets hope they build like pictured! (If not, the B6 might be my last.. I had high hopes for the TT and it sure washed out from the concept pics to actual sheet metal).
