Hello all.
I just picked up my 04 3.0 Quattro about a week ago. This is an amazing car!!!
One question... MSN.com advertises that all new A4's come with tire pressure monitoring. Have any of you spoken to your dealers about it? I asked mine and he said no, then again, he didn't know much about the car at all. Tonite I did notice that one of the fuse slots is labeled as tire pressure control. Found that out because I did the forbidden "removed the ash tray" mod.
Thanks to this site I was able to put it back in.
Great site by the way, very informative.
Thanks

Well, here's the thing...
While at the dealer today, I asked about it. The sales rep said it was only offered on the A8. In the S4 I drove, I saw the little warning light, but it may have been just as important as the "roof opening" light on my non-cabrio.
It was mandated that all cars have tire pressure monitors by 2006 or so, so they have to add it sometime soon. When the 2004s first came out, it was first rumored that they'd have this system. However, I haven't heard anything reported about it.
First of all, check your manual (mine sucks...but try anyway). Secondly, when you turn on the ignition, do you get the tire pressure icon on top row of warning lights? Look in bright sunlight...it is on the left.

So how is that RED bomb coming.
Seen your post on the other Audi site. Thought """Charles""" was kinda uptight. He sent me a personal email on how George W would take care of us crass Canadians. Told him he has a problem and left it at that. Too bad, no wonder postings are limited. Nice mag though.
