I'm new to this site. I recently purchased a 2004 A4 1.8l turbo quattro with 30,000 miles. I look forward to the wealth of information and audi support as I learn more about my A4.

Thanks and yes, 30k for an 04 was a good score. I purchased it from a very close friend of the family.
What should I focus on for maintenance as I learn more about the B6 series. I use only Royal Purple synthetic oil and filters and change the oil very 7,500 miles. Any unique maintenance requirement for a quattro?
I hope to have images soon once the weather improves.

I would suggest that if you are changing your oil at 7.5k to keep a close eye on the engine for signs of sludge.

On a car that old with that few miles, I would check to make sure the timing belt has been changed; age is as hard on the belts as miles. Do the water pump and tensioner while in there. Also, a coolant swap is probably in order. Also, depending on where the car has "lived" (inside or outside), I would check the water drains. Those are the things that come to mind on age items versus wear items.
